This website has been quiet for a while but things are moving again. We are now planning for another trip to Rwandain January 2017 with a group of 12 from the Glaven Valley. Many of us have been before but for some, this will be a new experience. We’ll tell you more of our plans in due course but we expect to do the kinds of things which we have done before such as: taking out water filters, supporting the building of a house for a genocide widow, engaging with children in practical activities, assisting in nutrition clinics and also the training of pastors.
We have been encouraged by a recent good local fundraising event which brought in £1200. As someone pointed out, that covers half the cost of building a house over there. Alternatively, it can buy 48 family filters. There’s more fund-raising to come!
